SOUTHERN AT WAR SHOW 2010

This ever popular weekend started rather damp but this did not affect the large public turnout, some coming from as far away as North Yorkshire.

Once again, the 23rd Sussex Home Guard entertained them with displays and parades. This time the beautiful authentic setting of Horsted Keynes also echoed to the sound of the rifle squads at bayonet practice.

Drawn up outside the station were the 23rd Sussex's own battalion transport of Daimler Scout Car, Standard Replica Armoured Car, Austin 7 van and B.S.A. M20 Mortorcycle. Also for the first time, the platoon artillery support was represented by the Mk 1 Northover Projector.
